Eagles Battle back vs Milwaukie

Last Night Centennial Hosted NW Oregon Conference opponent Milwaukie Mustangs. The Mustangs came in all fired up and jumped on the Eagles taking game one and game two (23-25 & 22-25). Down 0-2, The Eagles battled back to win game 3 in another close score 25-22, game three the girls stayed on top leaving no doubt they were playing for game five winning in convincing fashion 25-17. Game five was a battle from start to finish with the Eagles jumping out early and the Mustangs battled back to take the lead 12-8, from that point on it was ALL Eagles storming back to secure their first Conference win of 2022!!!!
Coach Wohlers said the girls really came together as a team. Senior Anuta Opshytosh had 24 assists and 4 service aces. Sophomore Katie Brewer was stellar at the net with 10 kills, Brooklyn Boyd also with 9 kills and 19 digs, Junior Peyton Davis 8 kills. Sophomore Claire Kroll 11 digs and Senior Riley Buckland added 10 digs as well.
